«Muy triste escuchar las desgarradoras noticias sobre la muerte de Kobe y su hija Gianna. Kobe era una auténtica leyenda y una inspiración para muchos. Envío mis condolencias a su familia y amigos y a las familias de todos los que han muerto en el accidente. Descansa en paz leyenda». Decía el mensaje del delantero de la Juventus.
